The primary goal of this certification is to attest the intrinsic value of high-quality products originating exclusively in Italy. No company can claim this certification if its product does not meet strict criteria that exclude any production phase outside national borders.
The certification process follows all parameters defined by current Italian regulations, adopting the certification specification, establishing specific procedures, and managing all actions through official forms and documents.
The certification is issued by the Istituto per la Tutela dei Produttori Italiani, while Promindustria S.p.A. handles the preliminary assessment and the relationship with applicant companies.
Certification procedure
The company interested in certification must declare that it meets the required criteria, such as fully Italian production, the use of Italian semi-finished components, high-quality materials, a distinctive style, and traditional workmanship.
It then completes the specification and provides the documentation needed to prove compliance with the declared requirements.
The Istituto per la Tutela dei Produttori Italiani will carry out inspections to verify compliance and the validity of the documentation submitted.
Controls, both preventive and periodic, will be carried out directly by the Institute or by external professionals specifically appointed.

Certification requirements
- Design and manufacturing entirely in Italy.
- Exclusive designs and planning by the company.
- Use of Italian semi-finished components.
- Traceability of production stages.
- Use of high-quality natural materials with traceable origin.
- Traditional, typical workmanship.
- Compliance with health, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
- Upon completion, the company will be entered in the National Register of Italian Producers.
